Luncheon at Cindy's

Cindy, better known as Puts, invited me and my mom to join her and her mom for lunch at her house. The only other guest was her cat, China Blue who was not very sociable. She only makes appearances when she feels like it. Puts had to get her from under the bed.

Put's table looked like a page from Food and Wine. Everything matched. She made a cold Cucumber Soup, a Zucchini Pie which she baked and a Chicken salad with enormous grapes and cashews. The combination worked very well, just like everything at her house; nothing out of place! We all enjoyed this delicious and delightful luncheon especially with the endless champagne.

She served some French macarons and chocolates for dessert. It was a nice light dessert which everyone loved as they picked their favorite flavors. I could eat like this everyday!
