Lunch Delivered from San Diego

I should be so lucky for 2 of my friends from San Diego decided they would come and cook for their currently invalid friend.  Berenice had cooked some Paella from home. Her sister Lorly made some Shanghai Lumpia, Turon (fried banana with jackfruit), and her famous Pancit Lomi, a Filipino noodle soup with chicken, fish, and shrimp. She already had the lumpia wrapped but not yet fried so that it could be enjoyed fresh and crisp. The Lomi, she made from scratch in my kitchen.

I felt so guilty just sitting waiting for the 2 chefs to cook away. We had to have some champagne to match the wonderful food. We all were paralyzed after eating. None of us could move a muscle. We were all in ecstasy!

Thank you, Berenice and Lorly, for a fantastic lunch!
