Famous Tandoori

I have not been to my favorite Pakistani-Indian Halal restaurant for awhile. This hole in the wall got a little bit bigger. Sandi and I brought our friend Amy there last night. At first, we didn't notice the addition because we thought they just added a mirror to make the place look bigger. Then both of us simultaneously put our hand through the space to make sure it was not a reflection. We both felt stupid! Nadil, our usual server informed us that they remodeled 2 months ago. The place looks good.

Amy left the ordering to us. We asked for our usual which is Chicken Tiki Masala, Rice, and Garlic Naan. It's funny, we never really ate the salad they serve since it's just raw onions an pepper. Amy started eating it and I followed suit. It was not bad at all after squeezing some lemon on them and dipping them in the green sauce.

The Chicken Tiki Masala was as delicious as ever. It is spicy but not too spicy. The sauce is to die for especially after pouring some on the white rice. The naan was just as delicious after mopping the leftover sauce from the plate.

We have tried several Indian restaurants in the area but we always come back to Famous Tandoori because it simply is the best. Famous Tandoori is located at 1817 Pacific Coast Hwy. in Lomita, California.
