If you love white chocolate and cashews you will love these scones at L'Amande Bakery in Torrance. Even if you don't like scones, I guarantee you will like these. Scones are usually too dry or too cakey.
These scones are crispy on the outside and soft and very tasty inside. The combination of the white chocolate chips go well with the chewiness of the cashews. Then, when you add the butter which you really don't need but might as well....then and only then will you know what I am talking about.
Do not get discouraged if you get there and don't find these scones. I have had their wild blueberry and fig scones which are just as fantastic. I haven't had the lemon and lavander scone with lemon curd. Everytime I go in there to try it, they have a different scone for me to try. I think there is a conspiracy going on at L'Amande Bakery. I intend to get to the bottom of it!
